The definition of a NEON
A great domestic compact car whose rapidly disappearing taillights are most typically seen through the windshields of Honda Civics, Chevy Cavaliers, and other assorted shitboxes.
According to Urban Dict. dot COM

On the shadow in front of the car you can still see the reflections off of the glass (same within the grill area you can still see it).
The shadow behind the car needs work.
There is a patch of light area right behind the left quarter panel that needs worked on (it sticks out as if you smeared it).
On the far left on the wood trim there is a white line that runs vertical (take this out even if it was in the original).
Take the small line out that's on the floor in the far bottom left corner.
In the top right corner on the roof there is something that seems to be on the wall (a shadow?). Take that out as well.
At the bottom of photo there is something brown sticking in the frame; clone that out.

About all i can see from first glance.
Not bad, for first try.

Well i wasn't going to reply; thinking you might take the criticism as most people do here (like i'm attacking them).

You should try and find a photograph (portrait of someone) and clean it up.
That will give you better practice then doing something on a car.
This example really is pretty lame.
However i did this a couple years ago as my first airbrush for a friend and did it within 20 minutes (granted i didn't have much time to work with on this one and the photo she took wasn't nearly quality it should of been).

Now here is something i did this last fall as a project.
It was a photo restore of my grandparents.
This one took me a long time and is actually more proficient at showing what you can do with some practice.

ah ok! Since i seem to have snagged you, how do you add those borders around the picture (like the one around your resto' picture)?

There are a couple ways to do it.
Probably the most easiest is the following ...

Once your image is opened go to Image>canvas size and set your dimensions on how you want expand your canvas. (w/e one you want first around the image in this case mine was white so i set the color to white).
Then go back and do it again just with the opposite color and expand it more or less depending on how you are setting the borders up.

I know this isn't "digital art", but I'm posting it as reference to another way you can go about setting up the boarders.

Thanks Ryan!!!

afireinside: Here are the steps...I do realize I haven't even cracked PS's full potential lol...maybe Ryan will stay in touch with me if I need noob help.

1) Zoomed in until approx 50x50 PIXELS (thats saying a lot since my camera is setup to take 8.1 megapixels!)

2) Cloned an approx same size portion right beside the glass side and overlayed it on the glass.

3) Played with the Brightness/Contrast setting and smudge tool pixel by pixel to blend it in as well as i could.

4) Repeat lol

It was fun and tedious, I loved it!
