Got a time slip? Until then, your SOHC with a fart can would have a hard time hitting 15's even. I had trouble hitting 15.9 in my black car when I put a 95 sohc in (with the "hot" cam) and a 3.55. DOHC pcm, DOHC muffler, weight redux, no accessories.

With the 2.4 in same car, I ran 14.9 with the same transmission, tires, and same weight redux (full interior).

Still, get some track times. I bet it's slower than you think it is.

98 Sohc
AFX Long tube, 2.5 " exhaust
mopar dohc computer
55mm tb
3.0 intake
no ps or ac
solid rear mount
booger bushing
355 trans
20x6x14 slicks.

All that netted me a 15.7 and a 15.8. Didn't have any weight reduction done, and I had a carload of stuff. I think your car will do a 15.5 on street tires at the most.
