Lame integra

Post by jory543 » Tue Jan 08, 2008 11:40 pm

So tonight I was going to my friends house, had 2 of my buddies in the car and we were cruising down the road. I see a beat up integra with obviously cut ricer springs and 2 dudes riding in it. So I pull up alongside of them and keep it in 3rd gear pacing them. After a little messing around they gun it and I bang it into second and get the jump. Slam it into third, kept them at my rear bumper until I let off at the top of third. They flew past me when I hit the brakes and turned off at the next intersection. The neon did good, even if it was just a beat ass automatic integra :)

Off-topic a little but I was considering a JDM Integra when I was in Ireland (real JDM, imported from Japan, not a modded UK one).
These are around 4/5000 € in good condition and kick ass while sipping gas.

Depends which Integra. The Type-R Integra has a stock 190hp and LSD as well as a low curb weight, my guess is that it would own any stock Neon and perhaps quite a few modded ones.

yeah but its still a rice burner. No power until like 6k, then the redline is 8k. 2,000 rpm power band FTL.

That's what I hate about my EJ8, at low revs it pulls like my 55 hp (not a typo) Twingo.

you don't need more than 2000 RPM.

just shift at the redline and you are again very close to 6000RPM wich is goooood and sounds even better :)

And uhh, what is a rice burner?

Just type "rice burner+urban dictionary" in Google and enjoy the results :-)
