As the title says. My wife wants some tunes in the car so removing the stereo/speakers is a no-no. However if there's a lighter option than stock...I'll go for it.

i believe alot of them are lighter.. i would look into some shallow mount speakers.. they will be the lightest

ya prett much any aftermarket are the stock ones are heavy, just look for thin ones.

Cheap name brand speakers will probably have the lightest motor structure, higher end ones have larger motors to handle more power and off-brand stuff will have large magnets to look impressive.
