Running an MP3 wire..

Post by APN » Tue Feb 13, 2007 1:44 am

I am trying to run a connection for my MP3 player from behind my head-unit to my center console.. Is it simply taking up the console and running the wire under there?

you should be able to do this without removing the center console, you need only remove the hvac cover and the head unit then you should be able to tuck the wire under the console the rest of the way without too much hassle

You can't do this with the stock head unit, I was trying to do the same thing but there is no FM modulator for the earlier Chrysler HU's.

Your best bet would be to either have an aftermarket HU and then wire that in using an FM Modulator.
