hello i just bought a 1995 neon that im gonna turn into a road track car but was wondering how diffacult its gonna be to gut it

It'll be the same as any other car, but why would you want to do that to a neon. But back to your question everything in a neon is either bolted or clipped in so it should be quit easy.

i would have but i got this car for $150 i just gotta change the head gasket and with an r/t i would want to drive it all the time but with this car its gonna be strictly a roadtrack car and id be to afarid to wreck it if it was a r/t

You would probably cry then if you saw pics of my R/T doesn't matter to me though cuz the car is stored in the winter, and it's no longer a daily driver.

Cheap beaters are great for converting. There was a guy on here that used to do stage rallies with his. Most of the plastic stuff like the pillar mouldings are held on by clips. Headliner just comes down after you remove the sunvisors and the inside roof handles. depending on factory, your dome light is either attached to the roof skin it's self or glued to the headliner. The rear seat bottom just lifts up and the back unbolts. Door panels pop off after removing two screws and the crank handles. You'll be done in less than a day. The hard stuff is removing the sound deadener from the floor and the inside of doors...

I still think the best way to get rid of sound deadning is by heating it up and scraping it off, took my about 3 days to get all of it but i'm a picky person.

after gutting it im planing on putting a roll cage in it and srengthen up the doorsim hoping that in 2years its not gonna be on ove those beat ass cars in a race im wanting more of a roadtrack car that competes in classes and stuff like that
