Changed my non-foglight bumper to the one with fogs. Car is prewired for them, just having issues getting them to turn on.
The switch on the inside hooks up to rear defrost, but my neon doesnt have rear defrost. I put a fuse in #4 for the lights but still got nothing. Bulbs inside housing do work.
Why would car be prewired for fogs but no way to turn them on? is there another switch?

A lot of neons came with the wiring even if it was a non fog car since it is already in the harness. do you have the switch that goes next to the rear defrost button?

Yeah, Wiring inside dash lines up with rear defrost. What do i have to do to get fogs working?

You need to get the fog light button. It's the button that mounts next to the defroster button. You'll also need the panel that has the cutouts for both buttons.

Have both buttons. Connector inside dash hooks to rear defroster, not to fog lights.

Well it would make sense that you car is NOT wired for fogs even though you say it is. Go to a junkyard and practice on a car there to get the wiring and connector for foglights, then do your car after you get a good wiring harness there.

Your engine bay harness is prewired for for lights
Your Dash harness is NOT prewired for fog lights

Not sure, that's why I said go to a local junkyard and play with a foglight equipped car. It's easy to mess with them, and figure out what's needed. Also, some wiring diagrams like those in the FSM or the back of a Hayne's manual will help greatly.
