Mine's a little different
I'm told it's from a mid-80's Pontiac Gran Prix. Good luck with the junk yards. I think it looks cool, and it does add real downforce, which helps with those cross-winds in the plains states.

BTW, anyone know how to add some spring to the trunk lid to offset the additional weight? Or how to add some hydro action?

Huh??chris97dohc wrote:i wish it were that simple but if you look at the underside of the trunk lid you will see that there is more to it than that.Echoalpha23 wrote:line up drill holes and bolt in...
Locate where you want it from the topside.
Lay down some tape and mark the spots where the studs hit the tape.
Drill through the tape with the appropriate sized bit.
If you hit some of the under bracing, just go through it.
Using a hole saw or a uni-bit, open up those holes so you can access right under the skin of the decklid.
Bolt the wing down to the skin and you're done.
If you wanted to do a nice job, you would paint over the fresh holes you made and goop some RTV around those same holes before you tighten the wing down.
