can mopar stage 1 springs work with our car?

I just picked up a 99 neon, I have a SRT-4 and have had it for 2 years now but I'm curious if the MOPAR stage 1 springs would work with my 1st gen

Example: If you take stock 2GN and place 1Gn springs on it.. the car is lowered. 1gn with 2gn springs would actually raise it.
I don't know what the Mopar Stage springs would do other than increase spring rate.
