Swaybar bushings.

Post by neoncrazy101 » Wed Feb 21, 2007 10:45 pm

Ok well i got some bushings from energysuspension to replace my swaybar ones. but the only problem is that i've never ever changed out bushings before. is there anything special to them or is it just unbolt and bolt back up?

Swaybar bushings are super easy, it's the ones elsewhere in your suspension that are a bitch.

 If some grease was included with the bushings use it since that helps movement and reduces any noise that is created due to movement.

i did them all at the same time, it seemed like only a few wanted to go in easily, but now that i think about it, the sway bar bushings should be easy, you will have a harder time bolting it back up to the struts though

i also found that astro-glide works really well to get the bushings in

My roommate's brother was recently using astro-glide to do something on his EG hatch and I can't remember if it was bushings or not lol
