I'm an Idiot, Grinding noise issue found an fixed, but I will not know for sure until I drive it for a while, the reason my trans was making those grinding noises, was that it only had 1 quart of fluid inside my trany after draining what was left of fluid, I added 2 1/2 quarts of Redline MTL 13.95$ 1Quart Part#5204 from Winchester Auto, the grinding was completely gone. let hope my dumb ars didnt mess up anything inside trans by driving it like this lol

UPDATE !!! Transmission Making Grinding Noises
Car In Neutral, with the Clutch up, my Trans makes a grinding noise, with Clutch down, the grinding noise stops, Ill get Video up soon, but what could be making my transmission do this, I have a new Throwout Bearing, + Clutch Installed, also my Trans was already making this noise, prior to the Clutch, & Throwout Bearing Replacement.

hmmm... is this even possible, i thought they only let you install it one way, when i was installing mines, i put it in backwards the 1st time, and the tabs didn't line up properly, so i changed the mounting position, and the tabs lined up, so i mounted it that way. But the reason that i installed the new clutch and throwout bearing in the 1st place was to rid myself from that horrific grinding noise from trans...

There is only one way to install the TOB, if you tried to install it backwards the tabs would be against the clutch pressure plate. Every neon i have owned had noisy TOB's even my srt4 was like this. Also can be the shifting linkage or forks, w/e you call them. Over long period of time and lots of miles they tend to rattle. Only way to fix those is a trans rebuild.

You can check the shifting linkage, start the car up and go under the hood and hold the cables and linkage with your hand. You can wiggle them slightly, but be careful doing this, if you wiggle to hard and put it in gear the car is gonna hop over you. best to have a friend helping with that. If the rattle does not go away its time for a different TOB.

Definitely a TOB to Pressure plate issue. Sounds like the clutch fork might not be secured properly. Take the inspection cover off the top of the trans and watch the clutch fork. Does it vibrate aggressively?

Can Someone Explain to me, how to change the Input shaft bearing, on a 1997 dodge neon sohc manual transmission?
I have been doing alot of research on the grinding issue, of my trans. And have came to a conclusion, that I need to replace this bearing, basically if you push the clutch in, and the trans makes noise, its the throwout bearing, if you release the clutch, and the trans makes noise, its the input shaft bearing, and thats exactly what my trans is doing, when I push the clutch in, the noise goes away, after releasing the clutch, the noise returns...
