Weight diff.?: Stock Clutch vs. Modular PT Cruiser Clutch??

Questions about axles, transmissions, differentials, pretty much anything that connects the engine to the wheels, this is the place for those questions.

Weight difference?: Stock Clutch vs. Modular PT Cruiser Clutch??

Anybody know if there is a weight diff? I forgot to weigh them both before putting the PT one in.

Seems to be the same, although I did change from DOHC to SOHC and hadnt driven the car in a while.. so idk.

Any info. is appreciated.

Thanks!

Figured I'd add the pt and neon modular clutches were brand new luk replacements, and the non modular was a factory used clutch and flywheel with 45,371 miles. Weights were measured at my local post office, clutches not in any boxes. I got curious on this a couple years ago, when I was assembling my hc engine for my car.

VERY good sir, thanks alot! :D

sorry i never replied to that peice u left there man... I have noticed that the new SOHC motor is alot quiker revving than the old DOHC. I assume that it could be a mixture of fresher motor and possivbly that the clutch actually is a bit lighter. 60K vs. 300k+ id say its probably just the fresh motor lol

A few new characters would be joining True Blood Season 5 DVD including Claude and Debbie's parents Barbara and Gordon Pelt.
