Return line fuel system?

Post by keeders08 » Wed Jun 23, 2010 7:37 pm

Anyone have an "easy" way of doing this?

I pondered this on the 95, taking the regulator out, running a return line system with a external regulator.

Not sure how well that'll go against the fuel pump.

95's are easy to add a return line. The canister already has a return.

Drill it and use a brass barbed fitting in the hole. Still would work.

bypass in-tank regulator. Use 6AN BulkHead Fitting in the top of the canister. on the bottom connect the hose to the top of the fuel pump. Run ya a new return the same way, most use 4an for return. Drill a hole in the side of the canister and just push the return inside the canister so return fuel keeps the canister full.

I've contemplated using a Beans or Fass Diesel Fuel Sump. They work on literally anything, run it to a Walbro external or Aeromotive. then to engine, fpr, then back and return through a bulkhead in the canister or a T-Fitting in the fill-up hose.

I was lucky enough to score a almost new Fuel Canister on Ebay already modded with 6AN Inlet/Outlets and brand new Walbro 255 for $80 shipped
