Question about Pauter Rods

Post by Nono » Mon May 24, 2010 11:12 am

I bought this 2.4L engine with Pauter rods but it was already assembled when I got it. Due to crank issues, needed to take it off for some machine shop job (long story) but to put everything back, I have a problem... I dont know the torque specs for these rods.

Can anyone help me on this? Thanks in advance!!

You can also call ARP's tech support if they are indeed ARP screws. I recommend the bolt stretch method if you have access to a stretch gauge. Bolt stretch is a more accurate way of tightening.
