ok friday im getn 2.5 in full exhaust done where the old cat used to b and in the middle a 20 in glass pack into my ractive muffler w/o silencer. Would that b a nice setup for all motor? plan on doin a lth this summer. what do u guys thank
White 96 dodge neon sohc mtx. Mods: NGK plugs, 3.0 cai, 2.5 in exhaust w/ractive muffler w/o silencer, atx tb, booger bushings, modern performance bobble strut, mopar performance ecu.

97 plymouth neon dohc atx 4 door.

Well, without a cat, the car is going to be insanely loud, mine was pretty bad with a long tube and no cat, to the point where I didn't get on it with people around. If you're using a stock manifold, I would get a glasspack, but when you go long tube, don't do a glasspack and just keep it straight pipe.

i would go as long as possible with the glasspack.. just my 2 cents.. it will make the tone deeper

I heard of someone using a 32" glasspack or something like that. They said it sounded good, but that's an opinion. I have a mid-length Header, NO CAT, and SRT-4 exhaust with 2 resonators, 2500RPM+ is insanely loud.
