As the topic says. I don't want an aftermarket exhaust that acts as a cop magnet but I do want to reduce backend pressure.
Is there anything of a Euro manufacturer that I could use ?(preferably Merc/BMW/VW/Audi/Opel/Renault/Peugeot fior availability reasons)

I see.. normally with the neon the muffler is horizontal mounted at the back of the car.
as you might me able to see on my pictures I have the muffler on the left.
This is a open flow universal muffler.
But there are also mufflers wich cost a bit more, wich are also open flow, but produce a lot less noise.
I think it would be good for you to find such a muffler. They can just be welded on the stock exhaust pipe at the left of the car.
Only think you should consider is that the muffler must not be too long, mine could JUST be mounted, I had like 1cm room to spare.
