i have bin trying to sell a motor thats bore over since i cant sell im turing it in to a boosted motor question is with a bore like that is it safe .. i would like to go 20+lbs at 8.8 comp

Honestly, it depends on how good the casting of the block is. Some blocks are simply stronger than others because of variances in casting (no two blocks are exactly the same).

If you want to make huge power, I would build an engine that is no more than .020 over. But that's just me. The less the block is bored, the stronger it will be.

You can also consider having the block sleeved for more strength at larger bores.
