Oil Pressure Switch Leaking Again!

Post by Red97 » Sat Feb 11, 2012 4:49 am

My oil pressure switch is leaking again! I seem to only get a year or so before it craps out. Does anybody know if there is a better one that will hold up? I've bought them from Pep Boys, Autozone, and the dealer, but they all give out sooner than I would like. Any ideas???

Unfortunatly not much you can do, I'm actually replacing my second one tomorrow and my car has only been on the road for 2 years since the motor swap. The problem is the seal where the plastic meets the steel, from the heat of the motor thiers just not much protection there, luckily the part is cheap enough that it shouldn't be to big of a deal to do it a little more frequently, just a pain in the ass to do it that often, good luck buddy!
