60mm throttle body is it worth the cost??

60mm throttle body is it worth the cost??

Hi, I´m running a SOHC 99 SE N/A

This are my mods:

Neon 03+ Graphite Pistons
Crane Cams .0012
Brushed/Lowered head .40 micras
Granatelli wires
Homemade CAI
Short Header
Graduated Cam Pulley (-2)
ATX ported 52 mm TB

So the question is... I have the opportunity to get one MP 60 mm TB, so what i'm asking is that with my mods is it worthy a "bigger" TB?

Will I gain some ponys? Or it just be a "placebo" mod?

Any help will be appreciated! :D

Your not going to see any gain, maybe even a loss. Your ported atx TB is able to suck in enough air to suffice the engine

There was a big discussion about this last year. It had information about the oversized throttle body not hurting performance like some people thought it did. I am not even about to dig for the thread, it was several pages long and had a ton of interesting info on throttle bodies. But to answer your question a 52mm tb will support more than the power you are making. If you can get a deal on one slap it on but you won't gain anything but a better looking engine bay

Graphite pistons? .40 micras? I don't know what you mean by that.. I agree with the other two posters, but I was just wondering what you meant..
