Removing lower timing belt pulley.

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons? just anything that is generally "engine" specific.

Removing lower timing belt pulley.

Post by Red97 » Sun Apr 03, 2011 6:10 pm

This may have been covered before, but I can't find a puller for the timing belt pulley on the crank that will fit. Any Ideas????

Use the timing cover bolt as a reference. Go to a hardware store, and get 3 bolts with the exact same threads, just a lot longer. You need to use a 3 bolt style pulley puller. Once you get the bolts, use whatever 3 bolt puller you think will work, and pull that sucker off.
