Why don't more people use the 2.4 ecu and harness

Working on a DOHC or 2.4L swap, or maybe you have some other idea and have some questions? Feel free to ask them here...

There has to be a downfall here I mean it's so much easier. You would not have to change any wires around, and the plugs are all the same, and the fuel would be right and you would not have to worry about injectors and fprs and lean conditions. [/u]
My sohc runs good mid 15s should i do dohc?

The lower rev limit vs the Neon in the PCM is often a big deal for people. Most were ATX so finding an MTX one is tough. Even the MTX version has a lower rev limit than the Neon.

the 2.4 harness needs a few changes, mostly because of the intake and position of the sensors. the pcm was ment for a lower reving and higher tourqe output. it is better to run a neon dohc harness and pcm so that your 2.4 can rev better. if its an n/a version they are way better.

Alright well I'm going with the atx 2.4 harness and ecu so I will let you guys know what I think cause I am turning mine. Also what kinda changes we talking? I cause I would rather make smaller changes and my original harness was a hack job from the last guy that had car

And using a atx harness it just the light ill have to deal with I can handle that
