Smog Legal Swaps

Just Wondering Has anyone done a Srt-4 and/or 2.0 Dohc Swap And Passed Smog, With Ms and/or Without Ms,
I'm very curious because I am planning on doing this sort of Swap, on my 1Gn DD Neon.
But Wanna Stay Completely Street Legal/Smog Legal,

California can be picky, I don't know their exact rules however...

If you have an OBD-II compliant car (1996 and newer) then the OBD-II port must be active and available for scanning during an emissions check.

Generally if you go with an engine that is the same year or newer than your car you will be OK, but you will want to confirm that with CA Laws.
