if you need to you can use a 2.0 DOHC head, they are cast identical to the 2.4 DOHC head

im almost positive they are interchangeable. i plan on getting an intake mani from a 2.0 for my 2.4 since the ones on the 2.4 are way to big

2.0 dohc 420a head and intake man in 2.4 block

if you are 2.4 swappin your neon or what ever the intake man in a stratus is not the way to go.. use your stock neon dohc intake it will bolt right up and give you better response. the only diff between a 2.0 and a 2.4 is its stroke.
you will still have 150 horsepower but go from 137 fp of torque to around 167 fp from 2.0 block to 2.4.

not a new topic i kno but i just wanted to throw in the 2.0 and 2.4 head are same until 2000 but compatible until 2002. i used a 2002 2.4 sebring head to convert my 97 neon to dohc. everything bolted up like it was a 2.0 head.
