2.4????

Working on a DOHC or 2.4L swap, or maybe you have some other idea and have some questions? Feel free to ask them here...

what all is interchangable with the 2.0 as far as udp, intake,manifold,water pump, head, i don't no, anything that i can keep from the old motor

you will need to use the 2.0 dohc intake and exhaust manifold, 2.0 power steering pump I believe, 2.0 dohc head can be used since its the same as the older 2.4s

if your doing the 2.4 swap then probably best bet is use an mpx udp but yes you need the udp from a 2.0

stop calling it a UDP unless you mean an aftermarket pulley.. the stock piece isnt underdriven!!! freaking NOOBS!

the 2.4 head is the same as the 2.0 up to 2001 2001+ heads have square exhaust ports, but 2002+ have different oil ports which are not in the older blocks.

Yes, and you HAVE to use an UDP w/ the 2.4 for clearance issues. Neither a stock 2.0 or 2.4 crank pulley will fit.

yeah vinny.. i mean my 2.4 1g came with a TTi UDP but still i dont see why there would be clearance issues.

You dont have to, I had a mpx but I couldnt use it b/c my alternator is on the front of my 2.4 and it wouldnt line up with my alternator. The stock one fits fine for me. Have been using it for awhile. As you can see from the pic it dont line up

i got a question. Can u keep your a/c when you do a 2.4 swap?
95 4dr. ATX sohc (msd coil, mpx UDP, WAI)

99 neon with 2.4 swap w/ 2.0 cams, afx race ecu, 60mm jeep tb, cai, header, polished intake, straight pipe with no muffler, poly. inserts, pt clutch, B&M sts w/booger bushing and skunk2 springs. 14.3 (gtech) 2.5 60 foot :O
