All lowering springs are going to blow out stock struts. I think my dropzones ride pretty decent for a cheap set. I have heard good reviews on the ksport lowering springs.

eibach sportlines are slammin low, and ride like a damn haywagon, not my first suggestion but whatever. the ksports are good, and ive heard good things about dropzone.
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!

Dropzone springs lower the rear about .75" and do not lower the front AT ALL. This is something i have been told from 3-4 people who have them.

Mine dropped my car right at 2 inches front and back. I'm not sure what their issue was.

Stock struts?

1 person had New Koni adjustables and 2 had KYB GR2's and both strut sets had absolutely no drop in the front.

Only way it would drop is if your stock struts are really bad.
That's what they said, they bought their Dropzones like 2 years ago so I don't know.

And they say 1.75" front and back on their specifications, so if you have a 2" drop.... well that's just odd.

You say kyb's with eibach is a hard ride? Might have to look around in that case...

It's a lowering spring it's not going to ride great. If you want both worlds you buy coilovers or konis. Sometimes you have to make a sacrifice. My car is by no means comfortable to drive at all. All the sound deadener is gone, carpet padding is gone. Solid motor mounts semi solid bobble. It's not a great ride, not even a good ride but its really fun to drive. Top end to be put on when it gets warm. I am so dreading the 10 hour drive to N2K11. My girlfriend is too I am sure. I would not be surprised if she doesn't follow me in the Corolla. But I love my neon.

They were a year old when I got them at N2K10. Maybe sagged a little. That would really suck to buy a lowering spring and it not lower the car at all. I guess that's the risk we take not buying the known good brand to save some green. Reviews are always back and forth, one person loves it the other hates it.

Edit: I just realized how old this was.

I was planning on getting kyb's with eibach's till i can afford coilovers. So i'm there with you that it will be a rough ride to N2K11.

If you can get koni's, even used, get them. I should be buying the Koni struts back from the guy who bought my ACR, he is getting coilovers.
