Vitor's 57.5mm bored throttlebody

Did you buy a part and think it was awesome, or did you think it was a piece of crap? Let everyone know here so we know not to buy the same product.

Vitor's 57.5mm bored throttlebody

Post by fusion210 » Sat Feb 17, 2007 11:47 pm

Obviously it's exactly like a stock throttlebody to install.
There seems to be a slight whistle at part throttle, it's kinda annoying, but you can't hear it with the stereo up a little.
Honestly, I can't say I notice this one at all. I'm sure it added a bit of power, but I can't tell.

EDIT: It whistles even though matched to the intake manifold.

Lol I had the same whistling problem in a 57mm bored tb. When I port matched the plenum to the tb it went away sadly. I kinda liked it :)

Same here - I have an MPx 55mm TB, bought it when it first came out, which was about 6-7 yrs ago, IIRC... When I first installed it, it had a bit of whistling, but whn I port-matched the plastic IM and then put the TB spacer on, it went away completely - and I definitely felt MUCH better throttle response and acceleration seemed a bit better.
