Prothane shifter bushings.

Did you buy a part and think it was awesome, or did you think it was a piece of crap? Let everyone know here so we know not to buy the same product.

Prothane shifter bushings.

Post by fusion210 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 9:27 pm

I'm not sure how long these have been out, but I bought some for the 4 door project I had. Purchased from ebay for $18 shipped, they now sell for $17 shipped. :)
You get the 4 bushings and a packet of (way too much) lube. Same old bushing install. No way I was going to run OEM ones again. They seem slightly more firm than booger bushings. Just from poking them with my fingernail and trying to squeeze them into the shifter cable ends. Cheaper too!
Feels good by themselves, but man do I hate the OEM shifter as well (after coming from the mopar short shifter in the coupe)
Row row row a boat.

As far as I know you get your choice of color, as long as it's red.

prothanes are fine. they work in my probe as motor mounts and a-arm bushings. my r/t i think has solids or maybe boogers for the shifter bushings. cant quite remember.
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!
