has anyone tried the phantom grip lsd conversion off of howellautomotive if so is it worth the money or is it a piece?

around here we call them phantom SLIP. The Quaife is your best route.

i was just shoppin around and noticed the major price difference and the fact so that it was a "conversion" and it was like 800 bucks cheaper so i figured it was shit so i figured id just ask

It works but its not the greatest. A lot of people have more problems because of the phantom grip. I actually picked up a spare trans for $200 locally and it has the phantom grip. The price was too good to pass up even though I wasnt to excited about the lsd.

I bought a "rebuilt" trans with a phantom grip. You can kind of tell it's there. It's the only option other than the OBX or the Quiafe right now though.
