1. a 97 harness should work with a 96 pcm with no problems. 2. it probly be easier to put the wiring harness on the engine after its in the car. 3. i think ur gonna need fuel injector plugs from an srt 4 and put those on wich ever wiring harness u use. 4. ull have to get some kind of fuel controler ...

i dont mind doing the porting and the redrilling. the longer runners are worth more to me than just the 90 degree delete on the dohc manifold.

how good or bad of an idea would it be to use a dremel to open up the oil drains in the head and the block? not sure if that could cause an oil leak some how.

i kno first hand about damage assosiated with the oiling problems. i rebuilt my engine with all oem parts and it spun a rod bearing after 10,000 miles. my buddy at the machine shop walked me through the rebuid and break in. no reason for it to fail. i have eagle rods and wiseco 10:.5:1 pistons this ...

ok thanks. i have 2 heads. one is an 02 from a sebring and the other is an 03 srt 4 head. i had the oil drain welded and redrilled to fit the 2.0 block. ive used both of them on my 2.0 block. as far as i can tell both are identical but im sure there are some differences i cant see. so wich is better...

yea i read a little about it on neons dot org and a little on here to. both pointed out flaws in the oil return system. if i remember correctly the threads said the 2.0 suffers from airation and design flaws in the path of the oil. from the oil pump to the rest of the engine is fine but from the oil...

iv'e been readin up a little about the oiling problems the 2.0 ltr has. im lookin for any tips or ways to minimize or eliminate these problems.
