How was that stupid? I guess rebuilding a 2.4 to put in (even in stock form) is too expensive for neon guys, huh?

Lol do it! But you may need to use the SRT8 cluster.

Like Ed said, for air fuel ratios try to aim for 11s or so. 12s if you've got a really good ignition system like an MSD DIS2 with granetelli wires and plugs gapped right. But for a street driven car, aim for mid 11s for air fuel

I don't know about how those manual boost controllers work, but what it sounds like, you're complaining about the amount of boost you should boost on a stock 2.4. The NSRT4 boosts more because they have a much better bottom end and have a lower compression. I wouldn't boost over 12 on a stock bottom...

Hehe, sounds like an exhaust leak. Especially since you JUST had exhaust work done. When I deleted my EGR, I had a horrible tick that I thought was my lifters and I thought my engine was gone, but it ended up being that the EGR block off wasn't sealing right to the block.

same head....so....same difficulty Depends what 2.4 head you're talking about. There are 3 different 2.4 heads from 95-10. You have the early style 95-99 head that is completely the same as all 2.0 DOHC heads, then you have the bastard AB block heads from 00-02ish, which have early oil passages but...
