I've replaced the oil pan gasket, rebuilt the head with all new seals/gaskets, new valves and guide seals, new cam sensor and o-ring. I still have a leak!! I'm not sure what else to try.
I hope somebody has a suggestion for this: I have oil leaking from my oil pressure switch. I replaced it, but no help. I took it back out and used more teflon tape to get a better seal, but still no help. Anyone have ideas? Thanks!!
I want a cold air intake for my car, but the only one that says it's compatable with an automatic transmission is the K&N CAI. I want one that won't cover up half my engine! I wish I had a 5-speed, but as they say "Run What you Brung". Any suggestions??
Has anyone tried recovering the head liner? I have the rear portion of my head liner flapping in the breeze and it's driving me CRAZY! How do you remove it? If I recover it, what type of fabric? Any help would be great.
No, I don't have pictures but green/orange wire at the alternator shorted out to the solid green wire at theplug to the alternator. It also fried ALL of the wires to the downstream O2 sensor. I hope this helps, Good Luck!!
I don't know if you have found the problem yet, but I had the same problem. I checked the wiring and found the alternator wiring shorted. It really fried a bunch of wires!! I repaired all the wires, and it works fine now.
I have the same problem, and I have rebuilt the head . I put in new valves, guide seals, and all new gaskets on the upper end of the engine. I have read that the oil pressure sensor can leak, you might want to check it out. Let me know if you find anythng. I'm still trying to sort it out too.
Does anyone know what takes off the white haze on my bumper? It is a pre colored (Red) bumper that is about 6 months old. It looks 6 years old!! My old bumper was over 3 years old with no problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks..
I had a similar problem with my sensor. I'm only geussing but it sounds like when you washed your engine, the o-ring was damaged. The sensor is a sealed unit. so I would try replacing the o-ring and cleaning the connector. Check also that your sensor is not cracked because that will cause an oil lea...
Does any one know where I can get a new timing belt cover for my car? I checked Ebay and the local junkyard, no luck. The dealer wants too much!! I need both the front, and the back. Thanks!!
