You'll need both the intake and exhaust manifold as well as the side motor mount bracket that goes between the front (passenger's side) of the engine and the side mm.

Or, 2.0's are cheap. Any 2.0l block from 95-99 neon is the same, so you can be rebuilding one while running the other one in your car. Or if your current engine is really bad, swap in another one and rebuild your old one while it's out. Just some thoughts/suggestions. If you really really do decide ...

Yep. Too many of those creates lots of heat/wear and then when the pin is hanging by a thread it will let go when you're just on your way to pick up some groceries or something.

Why would you use high compression pistons if you plan to boost it? High compression turbo builds have happened in the past, but the general consensus is that you're better off with low compression and more tuning room and being able to run more boost.

So you're using all the crappy parts off an SRT for it?

I really just don't think the SRT exterior parts really fit the lines, size and shape of a first gen, especially a coupe.

Painted interior looks cheap, tacky and silly.

If you do feel the absolute need to paint it a loud colour, then Krylon Fusion paint works best for plastics.

Take a look at the throttle cable end where it attaches to the throttle shaft to see if it's jammed up somehow.

Mine was way lower than that, maybe not positioned lower in the engine bay, but definitely lower to the ground with no problems at all. You'll have to submerge it in water to suck anything up.

No, nobody needs to accept it. It's the internet, man.

Build your SOHC. Go ahead and just do it instead of talking about it. If you don't have any plans to listen to advice and opinions, don't ask questions.

Well if you already have all your shit figured out, why are you asking our advice? Take your mighty bolt on SOHC and try to run mid-14's. Just to make things clear here, I personally don't think that the SOHC 2.0 engine is the worst thing ever, but when you start asking questions about how to make y...

Are the control arm bushings original? I'd check them as well for rotting/tearing, especially the horizontal one. They tend to dry out and tear.
