yeah. i've learned that lesson with this car. sad part is...the guy i bought it from is a mechanic. guess i now know why people say never to buy a mechanics car. thanks for the help.

thank you sir. i'll give it a try tomorrow. i can't bring myself to work anymore on the car today...spent all day replacing the tranny and re-wiring a whole crap load of shitty wire splices from things the previous owners added. i'm too fed up with it to figure this out tonight. thanks for the infor...

If you're spinning tires on the launch, you're wasting time. With street tires you need to: 1. AVOID THE WATER BOX! Just dry spin them a little to clean them off. 2. the tranny is getting replaced next sunday...the 29th. i'm going to wait on the cat though until i get the header fixed so i can install both at the same time. I know this thread is a few months old but do you still have the 3.94 tranny? If so, how much shipped to N3Y 4J9 Simcoe, Ontario through UPS? I think the tranny in my 98 ACR is on it's way out and would like to have a back-up. Let me know...sooner I can get a back-up, better I'll feel.
