I like this a lot for some reason. I guess its becasue he's retained the Battery and tray with a Mag intake. it almost looks like you could get away with running a 3.0 or Ice man intake with that setup

What makes you think that car can't handle decent? And why would you be afraid to drive over 25, fear of damaging the wheels? There are a lot lower cars out there being daily driven, and it doesn't look like it rubs on the outside. Not trying to be an ass, just playing devil's advocate if anything....

8-9's in a fully loaded car is a bigger testament of speed than a gutted track only car. But 8-9's would most likely require a NHRA approved cage.

You have a SRT swap. why do you need to remove weight and drive around something that is uncomfortable inside? I mean you have the potential for a lot more HP if you want it with the SRT swap so there is no need to remove weight to make speed.

You WILL gain HP to the wheels. What is essentially happening is that instead of the hp being lost to the heavy Accessory pulley it is being allowed to go to the wheels by using a lighter smaller diameter pulley

ok look i have the stuff to do the swap but after a few debates with friends, is it worth it? i have a 95 4 door no option neon, no ac no ps, with an 02 motor rebuilt at 12k miles and currently has 11k on top of that it runs strong to say the least, dohc pistons tb spacer, auto tb,of course the war...
