BTW I'd totally get another AE86. It just wouldn't be NA, preferably non-4AGE powered, purists be damned.

I'll definitely get into racing again, I just have no desire to do anything with fwd cars again, not even daily drivers. I'd consider a ready-to-race 1st gen track car to get into it on a budget, but that's it. The biggest mistake I learned with these cars isn't Neon specific: Not using AN fittings ...

I completely forgot, it just occurred to me that it has now been 10 years since I bought my first Neon, a flame red 1998 SOHC MTX w/ 60k miles. I paid $5400 for it at Jeff Wyler Kia (on rt 4 for you Cincy folks), $1k down and a ridiculous high-interest loan for the rest since I had no credit. Ended ...

If this place had private garages I could keep my tools in it might work, but its more like a parking garage. I need a house again, even if it means taking on roommates.

It's a Mopar roof rack with a Hummer-branded bike rack that was a display model from the former Hummer dealer Jon works at. Fits the Mopar rack perfectly and leaves the front tire on which is nice since I ride a track bike (no quick release front wheel). The chick I'm staying with, its not a romanti...

Glad to see it making it's rounds, ever decide on a location to settle down yet? Trying to decide between somewhere here in SoCal or St. Pete. I have more immediate work opportunity here, but I should break down and go to school which will be MUCH cheaper in FL. Also not really in love with LA itse...

Ha more surprised by "holy shirt are you Vinny Bricks!?" now thats when you know tyoue semi-famous ;) That type of thing would happen periodically at clubs back in the midwest, or even while walking around downtown Detroit at 3am. Autographs creep me out though, had to do that on NYE in Indy, had b...

No, but I'm not positive the guy I saw getting pushed around Venice Beach today in a wheelchair with big balloon tires wasn't Larry Flynt. The Flynt Publications building is just over in Hollywood not far, and Venice Beach is sleazy-yet-sorta-high-class (Lyndsey Lohan lives right there, as do lots o...

1st gens were probably one of the last cars sold with the old school pull knob headlight switch, I think most cars used a variation of that for decades.
