Unfortunatly not much you can do, I'm actually replacing my second one tomorrow and my car has only been on the road for 2 years since the motor swap. Not necessarily it could be a few things just as long as your oil isn't milky trust me if you messed something up you would know if it ran different.

Any white smoke or water comin from exhaust? Check your oil make sure its not milky like water and oil mixed, if its running like before it happened and you don't have any of these symtoms ( mainly the milky oil) then your probably fine, just keep an eye on it.

What are you getting for mpg of gas in your neon?

I was just wondering what other neon owners are getting for miles per gallon of gas in this crappy economy. I'm getting 23-25 mpg in the city and about 29 on the highway, not the greatest but not bad for a 13 year old car I have a 99 coupe 2.0 dohc, post what you have and what your getting for fuel ...

Looks good, I agree don't paint it it looks good that color, if you want some flare have a metallic flake added in the original color. Also glad you got it fixed!
