You'd have to call them, but I very highly doubt they'll give you a solid number on a progressive spring.

And some of the valves look to be bent. I guess you got a free set of valvesprings and a few good valves.

Not much restriction in the DOHC exhaust system, definately not enough to worry about changing any parts you don't need to. Just get a replacement cat, or if you're going to go the ghetto route, have the cat cut out and exhaust piping welded in its place.

Yep, that would do it. Just not sure why that's relevant to anything in this thread though.

Also, this is way off topic now, so I'm moving it.

You're seriously re-using rings? On a turbo engine? I'm sure we'll see another "I blew up my engine" thread soon. But anyway... Look at the exhaust ports. Compared to the regular SOHC they should be much larger. Also, the SOHC magnum heads had "R/T" stamped on them behind the water outlet. http://fa...

I can't tell from the pics; is that battery held down at all? If something happened, like an accident, emergency maneuvers, etc. that just becomes a projectile spewing hot acid through your vehicle. If I were you I'd cut my losses with those springs, try to sell them or something, and find some chea...

SOHC Neons are great for DD/commuters, beaters, run arounds or projects not about overall power or speed. I like the simplicity and they have a reputation of being more bulletproof due to that simplicity in the valvetrain. I was just kind of referring to the fact that you're likening your SOHC v-6 P...

they r alot better then thes dohc guys think they r. hellz yeah. my probe is a 12v sohc and it rocks out. sometimes i like driving it more then my r/t... sometimes. That totally makes the SOHC Neon better, cause that's totally related, right? I enjoy driving my 8v SOHC e30 more than a Neon, too; ho...

If you do want to make more power on the cheap with your car, find a junked DOHC manual car and steal the drivetrain for yours. If you like the SOHC that's fine, but if you want the best power/performance per dollar, swap in a DOHC 2.0 or 2.4. That being said, the DOHC intake manifold needs to be re...

Yep, lowering springs are super cheap if you just want it lower. Just find some used Mopar Hi-rates, Megans, Eibachs, etc.

And post pics of the bimmer in the picture post section.
