Yeah if car is mtx put foot on clutch. Does noise go away? If so your throw/release bearing is almost shot, replace ASAP. If it dies altogether it will probably mean a new clutch. Nice cluster but sam problem got now not fast enough. Does n e 1 now who puts out a cluster measuring 150mph??? or even better 250 kph. If I pushed it, stock I would shift out of 4th at 110mph now prob. 130mph can't tell but I bury the needle.

My bad that's 10% cooler not 110% --2 much coffee spilt on keyboaard -- sticky

My Dyno run is slated for next week, Results will be posted believe me the car goes like a bat out of hell.

The hole reason she's fully sponcered. All the hard work is paying off.

I haven't got an IAT nor have I got spare pods for another gauge so I just cheeted to give me an idea.

I wasn't aware the sohc was seperated the dohc is not and coolant passing through the waterneck really heats it up. As for measuring intake temp get a kitchen thermometer, some of the modern ones the probe is attached to 3' of cable so you can reach into the oven ( about ($30) at kitchen supply stor...

The aluminum sheds haet faster as air passed over it therefor despelling heat from the motor . plastic ones don't heat up so you don't loose that heat . think of the aluminum one as a heat sink drawing heat from motor . To all of u with a plastic intake manifold, get rid of it. go 2 scrapper and find the aluminum ones.
