So i have a 97 neon Sohc. I wanna fix the motor up a little but i don't know where to start. i've been looking around the site and see all kinds of lingo i don't no. does anyone wanna help me out or give me some idea's of where i should start and in witch direction i should go?

where can you get a "shift kit" for a auto at?
Also wouldn't a Manual valve bodies help at all? i'm not very sure on auto trannys and how too make them better so any info would help me aslo.
