Next time you travel, consider picking up a Red Bull.

Glad you're ok.

Sportlines are not junk, what is junk is people thinking you can lower your car 1.75 and still keep the stock struts. GO BUY NEW STRUTS, and do not buy OEM replacements. Buy some for lowering. The bottoming out is the struts not the springs. lol Ill say it again. Sportlines are junk. It doesnt matt...

Sportlines are junk. Dont lower your car more than an inch and you will be ok. If you want to go lower, get a good set of coil-overs.

If I remember correctly, you want 2001 or newer 2.4L lash adjusters. I cant remember the year change for the 2.7L "rockers", but I got mine from a 2004.

You wont gain any power. The valvetrain geometry remains the same.

If the new struts are slotted, its best to have it aligned. If you cant afford the alignment, just position the slot where it would be if there was no slot (usually in the middle). As long as you get the camber close to where it was, toe will not be affected much. Most cheap alignments don't include...

Since your not making enough power or turning enough RPM to really justify using a stronger rod, stick with the lighter rod to keep rotating and reciprocating weight as low as possible. Your rod failed because something else caused it to fail, not because it is not strong enough for your application...

I've had atf+4 in mine for months and not had any trouble, def shifts better than it did before. Nobody said ATF+4 doesn't work, its just not as good as the other fluids available for this application. Chrysler started putting ATF+4 in the T350 to save money, not because it was better for the trans...

Definitely fill the trans after installing it. Fill until it comes out of the fill plug. There are lots of fluids that will work. I would go for Redline MTL, Amsoil MTF, Mopar fluid, Royal Purple MTF, Penzoil Synchromesh, or M1 high mileage. M1 high mileage 10w30 is good but can cause harsh shifting...
