I'm just glad Ian stepped up and bought it. I know it will be in good hands and at least it will stay local and will be inside during the winters.

Other than that, just don't wreck the damn thing!!!! :D

Stage one's are kinda big for a stock Dohc. I ran 35'lber's (370cc's) in my old car when it had a rrfpr.

1gn's are getting kinda rare around here too. Let's face it, the newest ones are 12 years old right now. The only people that really want them are enthusiasts. Still see a few SRT's floating around, there's a stone white 05 now where I live. Every day here is either lowered tC's or the normal bunch ...

If you cut the feed line just right, you can just connect the return line to it withouot adding any hose.

As for bleeding, just stick a funnel that's small enough to fit in the ends of the lines. Fill with ATF. Crank the wheel back and forth until the air bubbles stop.

Cut the pressure line that leaves the pump right at where it passes the reservoir. Loop that into the return line that enters the reservoir. That way you do not need to get underneath the car in order to loop the lines at the rack. Just lift the front of the car up and trun the wheel to bleed any ai...

You have to have a good welder... Aparently robots are not good anymore since alot of new cars are being panel bonded, with only a few spot welds in between. You cannot weld on this thinner HSLA steel like you can on the old crap. All you do end up doing is burning through, warping it, or not penet...

The only real difference between the SRT blocks and the regular NA 2.4's is the piston/rods, oil pump, pan, pickup, water pump, and an oil port in the head. Plus if you go with a SRT block the crank trigger is different so you will need to either run a full srt harness and pcm, or wire in a Megasqui...
