Is it misfiring? Check engine light on or flashing?

hmmm kinda sounds like the maf sensor isnt adjusting the amount of air the engine needs in different temps... i dunno if that would be a big deal on a n/a engine but could def. be a big deal on a boosted car

Is there still water in any parts of the car? And is the alternator charging the battery?

This may not help but mine was similar, I replaced my coil and it solved my cutting out issue when it was cold.
