Currently paying $3.37 for 87 but if you go to someplace like Shell its quite a bit more.

On a side note: can anyone please tell me the approx mpg and how many miles you get out of a fillup? I bought the car 2 weeks ago today (only put maybe 50 miles on it) but the gas guage always reads empty and I have no idea how far a full tank, with mildly spirited driving, can get me. Thanks.

rebellion in Mequan (sp?)

Gas station manager here in wisconsin is shutting off his pumps for 24 hours. so, 12am thursday until 12am friday they are disabled.

If mroe people did this this thursday its almost a guarantee the prices would drop seeing that since the oil companies make so much money every day they would notice if everyone started to boycott the prices (obviously)

Hell take the bus for a week, n dont drive at all and u will see a good difference.

Up here in Canada I'm paying 1.29$ for 1 Liter of 94 octane. In Us gallons that comes out to 4.91$. And I only get ~ 220 miles per tank of gas, but I'm not complaining.

oh and if you all are wondering I googled gas prices in iraq a couple days ago and after I converted everything over to gallons and dollars they pay only 28 cents a gallon. not bad concidering a good paying job when converted into dollars is $5.15 an hour. thats like a job that pays $20 an hour here.

Yeah these prices suck. Just filled up the truck yesterday @ $3.36/gal for 87 regular at shell. Funny thing is that I've had a shell card for years and I'd always get like a $10-15 rebate each month (5% off shell gas). My wife and I both use the cards, and typically the bill is around $300. Last month my bill was pretty damn high and I ended up pulling in like $25 in rebates.....of course that means I was OVER $500 for the month

At this rate, I'd bet we're averaging $400 a month in gas for the year. I don't drive around much but to work and necessary places....maybe 10-15% of the time it's unnecessary. That is almost $5k a year for gas! Add propane costs for heating my house to that and you're looking at roughly $6500 a year.

Down here it's still $2.89 for 87 :) I read somewhere that SC on average had the lowest gas prices in all of the US.
