|Remember the first quarter of last week's http://www.officialsteelersprosale.com/coty-sensabaugh-jerseys-c-1_53.html game when the Bills netted 16 yards of offense and held the ball for only 3 minutes and 7 seconds?
Their first quarter of Week Three was just as bad.
The Bills upped their time of possession to 4:19 in the opening 15 minutes Sunday but had only 10 yards of total offense to show for it. The Bills' first two tries went three-and-out, with LeSean McCoy gaining 6 yards on two carries while Mike Tolbert ran twice for 4. Tyrod Taylor completed both of his passes for 9 yards but was sacked twice, losing 9.
The Bills' defense forced punts on Denver's first two drives and held for a field goal on the third, giving up 96 yards in the quarter.
ilver lining? Gaining almost no yards at least created an opportunity for punter Colton Schmidt to shine after the Bills brought three punters in for tryouts during the week. Schmidt's first kick was a 58-yard bomb that may have been hit slightly too hard, going for a touchback. His second kick went for 47 yards and was fair caught at the http://www.authenticsteelerssales.com/hines-ward-jersey-c-1_19.html Denver 27.
New starters: With Cordy Glenn and Marcell Dareus out with ankle injuries, second-round pick Dion Dawkins got his first career start at left tackle while Cedric Thornton started at defensive tackle.
