low 15s!!! no way i got to be in the high 14 at least. my friend had all the bolt ons on his rt including a indy (which we all know brings the power down not up) and he did a 15 flat. so i know im faster then that. i know i just need to get some better tires and ill be good.

I would guess 15's as well, depending on weight. You really don't have that many parts that add significant power. You have a stock SOHC head with a small cam.

dude on my old 95 i had brand new bottom end, decked head crane valve springs, comp 400 cam, udp, cold air, atx tb, a/c and p/s removed, mid length headers gutted cat, cat back 2.5, mp computer, msd coil, and wires and when low 15's with better tires possibly in the high 14's HIGH 14's, and theres a massive difference in the 95 cam from the comp 400 lol, my cam was probably the best upgrade, if you want more power i suggest getting a better cam, other wise your going to put it all together and still not be satisfied with all the money you spent

3.55 will hurt a bit, but the cam is the bigger killer. PUt a DOHC MPP PCM or megasquirt in it and a 14 at least for some better pull.

Whats serious weight redux, whats the actual weight of the car with you in it?

The last dyno i had done that i trusted was in the high 160's but torque took a nosedive after a few of the changes i made :/

We will see what #'s I put out next year, with my All-Motor build I'm currently building. I'm shooting for 13's with 170whp. We will see...

ya i need to get it weighed i want to know myself. but i WILL get into the 13 next summer well depending on when i send stuff in to be worked on and how long it takes. but i am going to get the major stuff this winter like pistons rods cam springs cam gear p&p 3 angle blueprint balance just hope i can get it all. i want to keep the 10:3.1 compression that i have now. i dont want to go up to 12:1 cause of driveability . but i know if i dont the DOHC pistons will give out sooner or l8r. unless someone knows something i can do about that.

12.5:1 pistons and i THINK a .060 hg shim puts you at about 11.8:1 IIRC. We did the math a while back on it and cam eup with rough numbers but god knows where that is now.

i am almost sure i would have broke 15 flat if i had a header and atx TB...
Uhmm, yeah, on street tires i spin the tires through all 4 gears i use in the 1/4 mile. FWIW i'm one of 2 sohc all motors in the 13's, and if you want to question my ability, my average light is a .040, and my average day at the races, no 2 runs are more than .05 apart from each other, hence average 2nd place finish this year in the bracket events. In my 10+ years of drag racing, everything from 17second sportsman cars(colorado, my first neon hehe, it was slow as hell), to 7second promod cars, please excuse me if i question your ability to criticize my driving skill or ability behind the wheel. Note the MPH on that run, 97.99 on a 14.4. Now look at my sig. 13.958@96. Hmm, looks like captain wheelspin to me....but i digress.

Regardless of that, if you are calling me out, you let me know when and what track, if its in the northeast, i will happily meet you there so we can discuss my ability to drive a car.
Would you please post your 13s runs complete as you did for the 14.4s earlier this post? Just curious.

I am looking to goof around with a Crane 14, Crane Cam Valve Springs, and Longtube headers with 2.5 exhaust all the way out the rear. i am in the middle of altering a 4.0L Jeep TB to fit my needs, and have a minor time restraint. Will the Crane 14 Cam run with my Sohc ECU? unfortunately it is a ATX at the moment, will convert to MTX in the future.
so again, will i be able to run the Crane 14 Cam with my stock SOHC ECU?
