What part?

the top just pops off, same as the HVAC bezel, the knee knocker unscrews, same as the glove box, from there you can access the remaining screws that hold the left and right pieces in.

Ive got a few pics from the dealer manual if you need them.

well i read that in a few threads but because its already cracked i didn't just wanna start yanking on it and bust it up more, is it held in by the like the same clips that hold the door panels on? i guess im really asking were to lift up on it would prevent further damage?

If its going to break its going to break and you will not stop that from happening.

TOP COVER AND CLUSTER BEZEL REMOVAL
REMOVAL
(1) Use care not to scratch the panel. Lift up on
the bottom outer areas of the cluster bezel and along
the rearward edge of the top cover to disengage the
clips (Fig. 29).
(2) Pull the top cover and cluster bezel rearward
until the forward pins disengage from the instrument
panel.

Well for the crack I'm going 100% redneck and taping the outer part to hold it even and then using a soldering iron melting strips across the crack on the underside of the dash and then sealing it with pvc cement, as for the chunk missing strangely I have an old sewing machine cover that maches the texture of the dash to a tee so I'll just cut it to match and probably try the same thing as the crack to hold it in place... excuse the spelling I'm on my phone
