"Newer" as in 2003-up. To some people, 2000 is "newer" lol.

Yea, I always think of the "NGC engines" as the newer ones. I guess I should update the how-to to include that.

which water neck? i'm probably using the wrong term but where the radiator cap screws on. my donor DOHC didnt have one, and i dont know if theres a difference between the 2.4L ones and the 2.0L ones...


and this power steering line stuff is news to me... ohh well.. :(

I think you are referring to the thermostat housing? If so, the 2.0 DOHC one works fine if you're using the 2.0 manifold.

I am planning on doing this twice as i race these as stock cars and need more torque coming out of the corners i know about the mount adapter but i did not know about the intake and exhaust and injectors needing to be swapped

Not sure if this has been asked but do you neef to run a 2.4 clutch or can you run the 2.0 clutch?
