wiring my magnum intake

Post by charger440neon2.0l » Sun Nov 21, 2010 6:39 pm

I'm looking for a simple vacuum operated switch that is adjustable from 10"hg to 0"hg I'm wanting to use it to open the secondaries on my magnum intake when manifold vacuum reaches below whatever point i end up setting it. the ones i found are rather expensive, does anyone know anything that would work that may be cheaper or just switches at fixed rates?

This is what i'd like to use but it don't specify what kind of adjustability it has it just shows vac. operated

this one looks perfect but i don't know how well it would hold up under the hood.

This one is expensive but would do exactly what i want

Could a MBC hooked up backwards work?

Having vaccum working to pull the ball towards the spring could be a feasible solution.

I need an electrical off-on switch controlled by vacuum to operate the mag intake. as long as its adjustable it can be a high vacuum switch (15"-30"hg) or low (0"-14"hg) and i can wire it to work.
