got a gps that tells your speed? Easiest way is to use a gps remove your plastic cover and remove your needles, as your driving make sure someone is with you to hold the wheel while your putting the needle back on, it may take a couple attempts before you get it just right, but check first to see how much your off, if its only a couple miles I wouldn't bother. rule of thumb is getting it up to 45 and if you have cruise set it for a couple miles.
99 2 dr R/T DOHC coupe, all the bells and whistles...

You could do that or you could just go with a 205/40-17 or a 215/35-18. I had 18's on my 95 i had and it sucked, looked great but the ride was rough.

I'll second that I had 18's also and I freeked every time I hit a bump. It was so rough I thaught I would crack a rim all the time.
But it looked sweet!

I can one up that. I cracked one of my fronts and had it repaired, and a week later I cracked the other front. After that i got rid of them.

Anything over 16's kind-of looks dumb...

there are about a billion tire calculators online that will tell you how far off your speedo would be with different size tires.
and i agree with Ian

I think SRT rims don't look too bad, but I pretty much agree with the statement that most anything bigger than 16s is just... wrong.

i have the stock srt rims on my car and it looks bad ass. i'd say more then 17 would be too much cause my other 17's were way nice looking.
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!

Srt wheels on 1gn's just look to big to me, but everyone has different taste.

My car looks fine with the SRT4 wheels, at stock height. I get lots of compliments on my wheels.
back on topic
205/40-17 tire, when your speedo says 60mph, you are really doing 59mph.
