there is a those that leads up to the intake tube on my SOHC so would i need a filter on that hose or get some hose and clamp and lead it to the 3.0 intake tube?

That is for your pcv system. The easy way would be put a filter on the end of it. The 3.0 tube has no provision for the hose.

Would not be to hard to add one, Could just tap a hole and put in a nipple for the hose. Of course would require you to use metal pipe like this post.
